Tankless water heater installation in Whitestown
Switching a Whitestown home from a tank to tankless takes more than a swap. We confirm your gas meter and line can supply the new unit, plan the vent route (most high-efficiency units vent through PVC and need a condensate drain), check for power nearby and size the unit for how many fixtures you run at once.
Our standard tankless installed price is $4,499. Work beyond the standard scope is quoted and approved first. See all installed prices.
Is tankless worth it in Whitestown?
If your household runs out of hot water, wants the floor space back, or plans to stay for years, tankless is usually worth a look. Units we install include a 15-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, and since Whitestown’s water is hard, plan on a yearly descale.
If upfront cost matters most, a new tank heater costs less. Compare Whitestown water heater replacement.

Whitestown water and tankless descaling
Citizens Energy Group completed its purchase of Whitestown’s water utility and began serving Whitestown customers directly in late May 2026. Citizens’ 2025 water quality report lists average hardness of about 320 ppm, roughly 19 grains per gallon, and notes that hardness varies with the source water feeding each treatment plant.
That’s hard enough to build scale in a tankless heat exchanger, which can trigger error codes and shutdowns. A yearly descale keeps most units running right. Our Tankless Carefree Plan includes it for $99 a year, and ScaleShot is our citric-acid descaler.
